Temptation is not sin, but yielding to temptation is

Word:

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal 2: 20

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Heb 11: 1

Word:

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Ps 42: 1

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. Ps 46: 4

Thought:

Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I (Jesus Christ) give will never thirst not ever. The water I give will be an artisan spring within, gushing fountains of endless life. If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way, just as the scripture says ‘ You’ll be like a well watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. John 4: 13-14, John 7: 38-39; Isaiah 58:11

Never forget – Your identity in Christ.

Total Transformation in Christ

Word:  

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12: 1 – 2.

Thought:

God has good, pleasing and perfect plans for His children. He wants us to be transformed people with renewed minds, living to honor and obey him. Only when the Holy Spirit renews, reeducates, and redirects our mind are  truly transformed.

 

 

Christian’s happiness

Word:  

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”  At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts: 7: 55 – 60.

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11: 40

Thought:

A Christian’s happiness and joyful life is not dependent on his circumstances.Keep honouring God in your conduct and words. Stephen’s death had a profound impact on Paul, who later become the world’s greatest missionary. Even those who oppose you now may later turn to Christ.

 

Showers of Blessing

Word:   

All praise to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Eph 1:3

“Ask the Lord for rain in the spring, and He will give it” (Zech 10:1)

There shall showers of blessing— Precious reviving again;

Over the hills and the valleys sound of abundance of rain!

God provides abundantly. We have to be thankful to God for His many blessings in Christ.

 

God’s choice

Word:

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2: 9 – 10.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John15:16

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

God’s choice is based on HIS grace: Those who are chosen do not deserve to be chosen, they are chosen as an unmerited favor from God.

 

God’s love is total

Word:

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3: 14-19.

Thought:

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

God’s love is total, says Paul. It reaches every corner of our experience. It is wide – it covers the breadth of our own experience, and it reaches out to the whole world. God’s love is long – it continues the length of our life journey. It is high – it rises to the heights of our celebration and elation. His love is deep – It reaches to the depths of discouragement, despair and even death.

 

Live your life victoriously with the power of Risen Redeemer Lord Jesus Christ

Word:

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalms 119:9

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Heb 4: 12-13.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Mathew 24:35

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

The word of God is living, life changing, and dynamic as it works in us. The demand of God’s word requires strong and firm decisions.

Challenges in our Journey are what make life interesting; overcoming them with the power of God is what makes life meaningful. Invest your life for Christ’s Kingdom sake.

Word:

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15: 9 -11

The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Pro 18:10

Thought:

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

When things are going well, we feel delighted. When hardships come, we sink into depression. But true joy transcends the rolling waves of circumstance. Joy comes from a consistent relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. The joy of living with Lord Jesus Christ daily will keep us levelheaded, no matter how high or low our circumstances.

God is our provider

Word:

Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together. Genesis 22: 6 – 8.

God sent Lord Jesus Christ as the lamb of sacrifice for our sake.

Jesus is our light, joy, hope and salvation, a friend who never forsakes, who lifts us when others try to push us down. We cannot wear Him out; we pile on Him all our griefs and troubles. He is always ready to lift us and help us. He addresses with the same love; He beams up on us with the same smile; He pities us with the same compassion.
