Ministry of Reconciliation

Dear all,

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43: 3

Word: Ministry of Reconciliation

18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.       2 Corinthians 5:18-21 (NIV)

Thought:

We are called to be ambassadors for Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.

An ambassador is an official representative of a country to another. As believers, we are Christ’s ambassadors, sent with the message of redemption in Christ Jesus to the World.

In what ways we are fulfilling our call?

Have a Victorious walk in Christ

Bible and the Bean

Hello Ladies,

Have you ever felt like your just waiting for the next stage of life? Waiting to get married, waiting to graduate, waiting to have children. Today’s society is full of waiting for the next big thing to happen next. Lately, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about what to do next with my life. There are so many options and so many doors opening and closing. As I have been in this time of waiting, I have been searching Scripture and realizing that maybe I am not in such bad company as I wait.

Acts 1: 4-5 talks about Jesus and His disciples before He ascends into Heaven. Verse 4 says “While He was together with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the Father’s promise. “This,” He said, “is what you heard from Me; for John baptized…

“When Nothing Makes Sense – Remember God is in Control”

Dear all,
May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2
Word:
Faith in Action
11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

John 11: 40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Thought:
When nothing makes sense, and when troubles seem more than you can bear, remember that God gives strength. Our feelings should not be controlled by the events around us, but by faith in God’s ability, which will give us the essential strength. Take your eyes off your difficulties and look to Him. God’s time table is something only He has complete control over. He is Sovereign and He is in control. He can be trusted even when we can’t predict the outcome. He will give his disciples the strength and confidence in Christ Jesus during difficult times. God’s people need to live in the strength of His Spirit, confident in his ultimate victory over evil.
To sum up, we believers need to wait patiently with sincere hearts and minds as God gives us a chance to honor Him and absolutely surrender to His Sovereign will. As our faith is tested, we are pruned to grow and bear more Spiritual fruits (Galatians 5). God is never late (John 11), so let us not rush God’s plan. The only perfect timing is God’s and His alone. Honestly, His clock doesn’t function like man’s clock.

Have a Victorious walk in Christ
