Thought:

True contentment comes only when we submit ourselves to God and absolutely follow His plan. As we admit our failures and humbly seek to do God’s will, we find ourselves drawing closer to God. As we draw close to God, He will renew our spiritual lives. Once we have renewed our mind in Christ Jesus, we will have a vision that was inscribed by our LORD Jesus on our hearts and minds to carry out His will without grumbling.

Thought:

The cross of Christ Jesus is the bridge between Earth and Heaven to have a constant relationship with God. Holy Spirit is the one who helps us to maintain that relationship 24/7. Since we are the children of God, we are not orphans, anymore.

For God has not given us a Spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline. II Tim 1: 7

Christianity is not a religion, but relationship. How is our walk with our LORD?

Sparrow’s Nest and Christ-Centered Family Life

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word of God:

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Luke 12: 7

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 41 – 42.

Thought:

To live a practical and a victorious Christian life we must keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our King and we are His People. In addition, we have our sonship in Christ-Jesus. He is our role model too. Our LORD is faithful, and His faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalms 119: 90).

Revival is an experience in the Church; Evangelism is an expression of the Church – Paul-S. Rees.

Thought:

Trusting in the LORD Jesus is the patient expectation that God will fulfill His promises in his Word and strengthen us to rise above life’s difficulties.

Do you have confidence in Christ Jesus that His purposes are right? Do you believe God loves you and wants the best for you?

In Christ-Jesus, we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1). We will have days of Heaven on Earth when we remember God always and in all things.

Self-Analysis

Dear all,

Let us do some self-analysis in the presence of God and make wise choices in our walk with the LORD.

Word:

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8: 11

Thought:

 As we are the children of God we have our Heavenly Father and He loves us. He displayed His love for us In Christ-Jesus on the Calvary. The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith, we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian. Moreover, He gives us the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

Be brave and courageous! Our future is secure in Christ Jesus because he knows all about it.

The Lord of the Armies is with us. We stand still and know that He is God! (Psalms 46:9-11).

God Reveals His Will in His Word

Dear all,

Plan Ahead:

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. James 4: 13-17

Thought: The will of God comes from the heart of God. God reveals His will in His Word. Only when we are in His will can we be confident of tomorrow, for we know that He is leading us.

Living with Grateful Heart

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

 Word: “Living with grateful Heart”

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalms 100: 4 and 5

Thought:

What can bring contentment in a person’s life?

Remember God’s goodness and dependability since day one of your life, and all the way to today. Worship Him with thanksgiving and praise, not only during the Thanksgiving season but also all day, every day. Our LORD Jesus Christ has earned salvation for us on the cross. His love is amazing. Let us live for Him every day. His grace is new every morning. We need to develop the character of thanksgiving, not the character of complaining.

Never Quit your Walk with LORD Jesus

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His loving kindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; Deuteronomy 7: 9

Thought:

God has chosen us not because of our merit that we have come to faith in Christ. Instead, God chose us out of his everlasting goodness and amazing grace.

Our LORD is faithful, and His faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalms 119: 90). There are a couple of factors which involves during the process to follow His footprints with eternal perspectives; which are time, trials and failures. Always, remember His faithfulness in your life journey.

  • God is the faithful covenant keeper and also He is the faithful guide and leader in the battle field. In addition, He is the faithful way-maker, the faithful restorer. He is also the faithful shepherd (John 10:10) who leads and never leaves the one behind. Never quit your walk with LORD Jesus. He is the faithful friend who sticks with us through thick and thin of our life.

Confidence in Christ

Dear all,

7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9

Thought: Confidence in Christ means that LORD Jesus does “strange things I cannot always understand”. In addition, a sense of humility in knowing God realizing that there will always be more to learn from Him. The appropriate response to God is a heart of wonder and awe in light of His incomprhensible greatness.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

How to Run Continuously for the LORD?

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit. James 5: 17 – 18.

Thought:

God’s answers to prayer are not always nice or easy to handle. It may be “Yes” or “No” or “Wait”. Any true Christian who has experienced continuous failures or serious illness knows this. We are to be committed to God even when our prayers are not immediately answered by Him. Never underestimate the love of God for us in Christ Jesus (Romans 8: 28)!

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.
