The Parable of the Loving Father

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: The Joys of Salvation:

“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! Luke 15: 17

Thought:

The story of the lost son wonderfully demonstrates the theme of Luke’s gospel and the keys to spiritual renewal.

Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19: 9-10

We are saved by God’s grace, and grace is love that pays a price. The sovereignty of God and the responsibility of mankind must be balanced.

Great Banquet – God Extends His Grace and Mercy to everyone who Repents!

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:  “‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’ “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in so that my house will be full.

Thought: The story of the great banquet illustrates one of the major themes in Luke’s Gospel. God extends His grace and mercy to everyone who repents. Confession and repentance mean a change in the deepest heart. With God’s help, we can accept Christ’s forgiveness and stop our wrongdoing. Jesus heals our inner wounds as well as outer wounds by his stripes.

“Jesus was wounded… Jesus was crushed… By His stripes, we are healed” (Isa 53:5)

Follow Jesus’s footprints without complaints

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15: 5

Thought:

Christ is the vine, and God is the gardener who cares for the branches to make them fruitful. The branches are all those who are the followers of the footprints of Christ. God is expecting us to live in His presence and enjoy Him forever in Christ Jesus. When things are going well, we feel elated. When hardships come, are we grumbling or do we quietly wait for God’s perfect time to come?

Let us spend some quality time in the presence of God to analyze our faith journey in Christ Jesus.

Gospel Doctrine Leads to Gospel Culture – Living Like Jesus

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word:

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6: 8

Thought:

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30; The Message (MSG)Have a Victorious walk in Christ

Practical and Victorious Christian Life

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Word: “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 41 – 42.

Thought:

To live a practical and victorious Christian life we must keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ without any distractions. Distractions diminish our devotion to Jesus. In contrast, our devotion to Jesus diminish our distractions.

A Tree and Its Fruit

Dear all, Let us continue to walk humbly and live for Christ Jesus as witnesses.
Word: Luke 6: 37-49

A Tree and Its Fruit
“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.
Luke 6: 43-44Thought: Jesus uses a clear example to share a very powerful principle.  “Confession without obedience has no substance.” But, the Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms us from the inside out. Overall, we are the living witnesses to share the love of Christ Jesus until the end of the earth.

From Caterpillar To Butterfly

The Jordan Valley

Seeing a bunch of caterpillars crawling on the ground, I often used to wonder how does this ugly creature transform into an eye-catching colourful butterfly. People love catching the beautiful winged insect and try to keep them in the palm of their hands but no one wants to touch a caterpillar. God cleanses us by the blood of His Son and has engraved our transformed image in His palm (Isaiah 49:16). When we see a butterfly, we forget its past stage and don’t fully appreciate the process that transforms them but enjoy the outcome of the transformation.

When we witness miracles in the life of people, we only look at the result of their faith but fail to observe how their faith worked out for the miracle to happen. People who are aware of the worth of the caterpillars, harvest them during their cocoon stage to produce silk. The silky…

Do Not Do Evil for Evil, But Do Good!

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” Job 42: 2

Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9

Thought:

God is Sovereign: Because God controls all things, and He can ultimately work all things together for good even those things meant for evil.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Past…Present…Future!

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: Gift of Forgiveness in Christ Jesus – Romans 5: 5 – 20

But the gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

Thought:

Through the cross of Christ Jesus, we have salvation and new life. Moreover, we also have an excellent opportunity to be born into His spiritual family. Certainly, this spiritual family line starts with His amazing forgiveness and results in everlasting life. Overall, In Christ Jesus, we have peace with the past, purpose in present, and hope for the future.
