But both decided to be quiet till the time they understood the truth behind the message. Even today people do not have a complete understanding about Christmas. Most people think that Christmas is a festival of Christians. But in fact, it is a festival of all humankind with a responsibility on Christians to spread the message as shepherds did when they first heard the Christmas message through Angels. In these Bible verses King David reviewed all the ways God had already helped him, and he greeted the next day with songs of praise. In our quiet moments or wakeful nights, make it a point to count examples of God’s faithfulness to us. Doing so is far more likely to give us rest than any other items we might count!

Thought: Our Christian life begins, when we accept Christ Jesus as our personal Savior. We are no longer slaves to sin and no longer alone, for Christ Jesus lives in us. He is the source of our power for living a blameless Christian life and our hope for the future. No longer pray “Lord, bless all our plans” instead pray “Lord, Plan for us, because our future is in Your mighty hands”

1. Knowing Christ Jesus is expressed in “Belief” in Christ now and eternally. Prayer is the power of that “Belief”. Plug in to the prayer power.
2. Life is God’s gift for the exercising of that “Belief” and is given one day at a time.
3. Looking back in our lives we should be able to see Christ character and nature increasing and our nature decreasing.
