Our conduct should reflect our new allegiance.

How are we responding to this?

Thought:

LORD Jesus is our eternal refuge and gives strength to the weak, power to the powerless and confidence in all situations. Never forget the source of our inspiration.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalms 46: 1 – 3

Word:

     For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4: 12- 13

Thought:

     The word of God is living, life-changing, and dynamic as it works in us. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. The demands of God’s word require decisions. Let us listen to the word of God and apply it in our day-to-day walk.

Thought: Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

We are God’s new creation and God continues to work in us to make us what He wants us to be. To do this God uses three tools.

  1. Word of God
  2. Prayer
  3. Suffering

As we read God’s Word, understand it, meditate on it, and feed on it, the Word goes to work in our lives to cleanse us and nourish us. As we pray, God’s Spirit works in us to release power. And as we suffer, the Spirit of God ministers to us. Suffering drives us back to the Word and prayer, and the cycle is repeated. Adapted from Warren W. Wiersbe’s Bible Commentary.

Never Quit your Walk with LORD Jesus

Thought:

God has chosen us not because of our merit that we have come to faith in Christ. Instead, God chose us out of his everlasting goodness and amazing grace.

Our LORD is faithful, and His faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalms 119: 90). There are a couple of factors which involves during the process to follow His footprints with eternal perspectives; which are time, trials and failures. Always, remember His faithfulness in your life journey.

  • God is the faithful covenant keeper and also He is the faithful guide and leader in the battle field. In addition, He is the faithful way-maker, the faithful restorer. He is also the faithful shepherd (John 10:10) who leads and never leaves the one behind. Never quit your walk with LORD Jesus. He is the faithful friend who sticks with us through thick and thin of our life.

God is Sovereign: Because God controls all things he can ultimately work all things together for good even those things meant for evil.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

6 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.”

2 God spoke further to Moses and said to him, “I am the Lord; 3 and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord, I did not make Myself known to them. 4 I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned. 5 Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. 6 Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage.
