Called to Call

You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing. Psalms 65: 11-13

Keep your conscience clear. 1 Peter 3: 16

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:17

NEHEMIAH – SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP IN REVIVAL

God put Nehemiah in Susa just as He had put Esther there a generation before, and just as He had put Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon.

EVANGELISM | DISCIPLESHIP | LEADERSHIP | PASS IT ON

When God wants to accomplish a work, He always prepares His workers and puts them in the right places at the right time. Even in a common conversation with a friend or relative | Ordinary day | Life changing Experience Joseph 41: 14; David 1 Sam 17: 29.

Nehemiah was determined because the work he was doing was great work and he was serving a great God.

One man with others (V 2) | I questioned them about the Jewish remnant. | 4 – When I heard this, I sat down and wept | Mourned | Fasted |He cared enough to ask; weep, pray & volunteer.

When you are facing an overwhelming project, here’s how to survive the cutthroat competition without losing your cool or your integrity | Pray – Plan – Persist – According to God’s master plan.

Nehemiah 1: 4-11 – Cup bearer – At each meal, the cup bearer must test the King’s food to make sure it was not poisoned. This is an accountable and honorable position in the King’s palace. He is a special guard to protect the king and a man of faithful and impressive character. In whom the king could place a tremendous amount of trust. If the cupbearer turned against the king, it would be easy to assassinate him.

A practical mind paired with a genuine faith can accomplish great things | Nehemiah’s visionary leadership | Renewal cannot take place until we know where to begin | Honest evaluation – Identify the issues and fix them with God’s grace.

STRESS Management:

S – Singing / Worshipping God | T – Thankful heart | R – Rest in Christ Jesus | E – Earnestly seek him | S – Solitude / Quality time | S – Slowdown

How to balance the balance | What is the rule of balance? | An object can be balanced if it’s supported directly under its center of gravity – Instant gratitude Vs Path of consistency | Long-term success – Keeping and maintaining the victorious walk | Like large doors can swing on very small hinges | Right small keys & right doors |

Abraham’s Life | Moses’ Life | David’s Life | Peter’s Life | Paul’s | 1000’s of Godly people (Hebrews 11 and 12) | surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses |

Children of God: | John 1: 12-13-14 | Romans 8: 14-17 | Ephesians 1:3| Isaiah 63:16

The Word Became Flesh: Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Life Through the Spirit: For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Loving Father: But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.
