Jesus came to seek and to save the lost

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.1 Thes 4:7

But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty that gives them understanding. Job 32:8

The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33: 4

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 7: 28-32

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Luke 19:10

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10b

Thought:

In His Time

I wait on God to bring to pass

All that He promised me

And as I wait, I rest in faith

For all, I cannot see

For in His way, He will provide

At just the perfect time

Everything that’s good and right

To bless this life of mine.

Christ Jesus-centered decision makes us who we are!

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

1 In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So, a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab. 2 The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. And they went to Moab and lived there. 3 Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. 4 They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, 5 both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband. 6 When Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had come to the aid of his people by providing food for them, she and her daughters-in-law prepared to return home from there. Ruth 1: 1-6

Thought:

Christ Jesus-centered decision makes us who we are!

Choose life in Christ Jesus! Instead of asking God to bless your plans, ask God to plan for you and your family, and your ministries. Please God always! He will never put our face in shame! May God give us the discerning Spirit and His wisdom to make the right choices at the right time.

Casting down the strongholds in Jesus’ name

Casting down the strongholds in Jesus’ name

Strongholds are defined as “something” that holds you back from your walk with the LORD Jesus Christ. What is holding you back from receiving spiritual, emotional, or physical blessings?

According to the Word of God, it is possible to cast down the strongholds in Jesus’ name. In Luke 10: 20 says Jesus says “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 says,

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Let us do some self-analysis in the presence of God and make wise choices in our walk with the LORD. Whether we like it or not we are in the battle (Ephesians 6). Let us put on the full armor of God and fight the good fight.

Hebrews 12: 1-3, says that, therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer, and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

“Fix your eyes on Jesus” – In any race there will be two important persons among many other people. Firstly, the starter – the person who says on your mark, set, go, and then the referee – the person who receives you at the finish line and gives the first place, second place, or third place cards. Remember in our Christian run LORD Jesus is running with us, and He knows how to carry us through the storm. We need faith and faith can move the mountains.

God’s Unshakable love

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8: 31

Thought:

Our security is based on God’s unshakable love for us. God proved His love for us by willingly sending His Son to suffer and die. There is nothing in the whole universe that can separate us from God’s love! What more could God say to us to make us more secure in His love?

Prayer For the Day:

I look at my dedication to you, Jesus,

my Lord, and Savior, and am ashamed – you gave.

everything for me. May I always live totally committed in love to you.

Difficulties Vs Strength and sustainability

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8: 28-30

Thought:

In Christ Jesus, we have a better joy, a higher and lasting joy to cure depression or tension.  Submit yourself and draw constantly from his power. When you feel down, you may find it difficult to give thanks. Take heart – in all things. God works for our good if we love him and are called by him (Romans 8: 28-30). Thank God, not for your difficulties but for the strength and sustainability he is building in you through the difficult experiences of your life. You can be sure that God’s perfect love will see you through.

Your strength will equal your days. Deuteronomy 33: 25

How to Pray – ACTS Method – Adoration Confession Thanksgiving and Supplication

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people by the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8: 26-28

Thought: Prayer is one of the ways we draw closer to God and preserve our spiritual gains. Paul assures us that the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit is at work within us as we pray. We are not left alone to work out our problems. As we entrust our lives to God, he directs the events of our lives, even the painful ones, for our good. He can turn even our mistakes into the means for our growth and blessing.

Adoration — Praising and worshiping God for who He is, His power, and His fatherly love, …

Confession — Acknowledging to God that we have sinned and that we claim Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Thanksgiving — Giving thanks to God for all that He has done for us.

Supplication — Humbly asking God to help us or others when there is a need.

Your strength will equal your days. Deuteronomy 33: 25

To make ready a group of people to meet our LORD Jesus Christ.

Today’s sufferings vs. tomorrow’s glory

Dear all,

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16: 13 -14.

Word: Romans 8: 18-25

Word: I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Thought:  A believer does not focus on today’s sufferings; he looks forward to tomorrow’s glory. When our faith is strong in Christ Jesus, we tend to be optimistic because our hope is in the living God who holds our future.

Revival is an experience in the Church; Evangelism is an expression of the Church – Paul-S. Rees.

Life by the Spirit

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: Life by the Spirit

(Jesus) I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10b

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8: 14-17

“The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else.” – Oswald Chambers

A.W. Tozer says “A frightened world needs a fearless church.”

Cost of True Christian Discipleship

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word:

5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires, but those who live by the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Romans 5: 5-8

Cost of True Christian Discipleship:

·         Paul puts people in two categories – The mind governed by flesh Vs The mind governed by the Holy Spirit.

·         Once we surrender our lives to God, it is a daily decision to follow his footprints.

·         Following Christ Jesus means an absolute submission to do God’s will and to follow His footprints.

·         True faith in Christ Jesus transforms our conduct, attitude, character, speech pattern, motives, and actions.

Word of God is Alive and Active

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalms 119:9

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Heb 4: 12-13.

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Mathew 24:35

Thought: Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

The word of God is living, life-changing, and dynamic as it works in us. The demand of God’s word requires strong and firm decisions.

Challenges in our Journey are what make life interesting; overcoming them with the power of God is what makes life meaningful. Invest your life for Christ’s Kingdom’s sake.

“God who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the Day of Jesus Christ” (Phil 1:6).

Memory verse for the week:

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Mat 4:19.

Live your life victoriously with the power of Risen Redeemer Lord Jesus Christ
