Purity in Christian life

Word:

How can a young man keep his way pure?  By living according to your word. Ps 119: 9

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Thought:

Our Journey in Christ begins with God’s wisdom, requires practical application and the results will be victorious Christian living. Trust God and His word; allow His word to speak to you personally; be willing to obey: act on God’s direction daily; May His Word be our confidence to face our day to day challenges.

God’s wisdom

Word:

Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2: 3 – 6

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Col 2: 2-3

Thought:

Wisdom’s starting point is God and His revealed Word is the source of “knowledge and understanding”.

Where are you???

Word:

The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young- let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. Pro 1: 1 – 6.

Thought:

God wants his people to be wise. When we choose God’s way, He grants us wisdom. His word, the Holy Bible helps us to live right in the dark world, have right relationships and make right decisions. When you are following His word you are living in His “ARK” not in “DARK”. Where are you?

afraid ???

Word:

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”   Acts 18: 9-10

Thought:

“Challenges are what make life interesting;

Overcoming them with the Christ’s power is what makes life meaningful”

Author – unknown

Jesus – The author of our life

Word:

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. John 10: 11 and 14

Thought:

Jesus gives life. The life he gives right now is abundantly rich and full. It is eternal, yet it begins immediately. Life in Christ is lived on a higher plane because of his overflowing forgiveness, love and guidance. Have you taken Christ’s offer of life ?

Christian’s happiness

Word:

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”  At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts: 7: 55 – 60.

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11: 40

Thought:

A Christian’s happiness and joyful life is not dependent on his circumstances.Keep honouring God in your conduct and words. Stephen’s death had a profound impact on Paul, who later become the world’s greatest missionary. Even those who oppose you now may later turn to Christ.

Live your life well with the power of the Risen Redeemer Lord Jesus Christ

Word:

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15: 9 -11

The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Pro 18:10

Thought:

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

When things are going well, we feel delighted. When hardships come, we sink into depression. But true joy transcends the rolling waves of circumstance. Joy comes from a consistent relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. The joy of living with Lord Jesus Christ daily will keep us levelheaded, no matter how high or low our circumstances.

Live your life well with the power of the Risen Redeemer Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Calms the Storm

Word:

Jesus Calms the Storm

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”  Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Mark 4:35-41

Thought: A small decision can make a great change. In our Journey we have to develop a habit to look to Jesus instead of our circumstances.

No one can make you suffer unless He proposes, But the ultimate result is good.
