Christianity is Not a Religion But Relationship In Christ Jesus

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

Philippians 3:10-14New International Version (NIV)

10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Thought:

Paul said that his goal was to know Christ in a personal way, and to be all Christ had in mind for him. This goal took all of Paul’s energies, focus and time. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal. Knowing Christ with the single-mindedness of an athlete in training we must lay aside everything harmful and forsake anything that may distract us from being effective and mission minded Christians.

God’s unlimited Power In Christ Jesus

Dear Friends in Christ,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s Word:

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? Who has measured the Spirit of the LORD, or what man shows him his counsel? Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding? Isa 40:12 – 14
Thought:

Isaiah describes God’s power to create, His provision to sustain and His presence to help. God is almighty and powerful. No person or thing can be compared to God. But even so, He cares for each of us personally.
We describe God as best as we can with our limited knowledge and language. But our understanding of Him and His power are limited when we compare Him to what we experience on earth.
What is your concept of God especially as revealed in His son Lord Jesus Christ? We should not limit His power in our life by underestimating Him.

Confidence in the Flesh Vs Confidence in Christ Jesus

Dear all,

May God our father and the LORD Jesus Christ gives you grace and peace. Philip 1: 2

Word: Confidence in the Flesh Vs Confidence in Christ Jesus

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians%203:1-11

Thought:

In John 15: 16 – Jesus said that You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Righteousness comes only from God, and we are made righteous by trusting in Christ Jesus. He exchanges our sin and shortcomings for his complete righteousness. Let us do some self-analysis before our LORD.

Local Ministries Vs Global Ministries

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians%202:19-30

28 Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may be glad and I may have less anxiety. 29 So then, welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him, 30 because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me.

Thought:

Even though Paul was in prison he is preaching about Christ. Circumstances cannot stop Christ’s work if we are doing God’s ministry according to His perfect plan. From the prison cell he indicates that we should honor those who give their lives for the sake of Christ, going where we cannot go ourselves. Our missionaries do that for us today by providing ministry where we are not able to go physically.

Are we supporting missionaries by prayers and sending some kind of support? We need to support local ministries as well as global ministries to share the love of Christ to those who are living next door as well as next continent. Jesus said come and I will make you fishers of man.

Dear all,

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1: 3 – 4.

Word:

Revelation: 21: 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Psalm: 100: 3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Thought:

God doesn’t live in buildings but in people’s hearts. He made our heart for His dwelling. Have you experienced the true deliverance in Christ Jesus? If not, during this Christmas season come closer to the light of God’s presence and make a quick evaluation of your spiritual condition.

Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning – Luke 12: 35

Be – Personal call for you – God saved our forefathers through thousands of years, even in the middle of famine, war and natural calamities and brought us into this World. God’s sovereign plan in Christ Jesus for you and me was well planned by God before the foundations of the earth (Ephesians 1).

Dressed: Zechariah 3: 1-10 and Ephesians 6 talk about dress.  Dress is referred to as Salvation in Christ Jesus and full armor of God, with these dresses we will be secured and saved by God from satanic attacks. Submit to God and resist the devil in Jesus’ name.

For service: What is the ultimate service for us in this Earth? The answer is simple – sharing the love of Christ Jesus to the people those who are in need of salvation. Our life should have a solid foundation on the Word of God. We need to have  one desire, one passion, one goal and that is, to proclaim Jesus’ name by our words and actions everywhere (Matthew 7: 24).

Keep your lamps burning: Plug your mind in to the power of prayer and be filled with the Holy Spirit, which results in a continuous victorious walk in Christ in all the areas of your life. In which area do you need a continuous victory? Let us ask God like Jacob and He is ready to bless us with a victorious life. In addition, God called us to be a light in the darkness (Matthew 5). Oil lamp needs continuous supply of oil and if it is electric lamp it needs continuous electric supply. Here we can compare oil and electricity with God’s anointment of the Holy Spirit.

Let us spend some time in prayer and review our walk with Christ.

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word: Luke 17: 11 – 19

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2017:11-19

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

10-lep

Thought:  10 men cried out to God for help and He healed them. But, only one returned to thank him. It is possible to receive God’s great gifts with an ungrateful spirit. Only grateful Christians grow in understanding God’s grace.

If we were in that position what will be our response? Never forget God’s goodness in your life.

Prayer – Always Pray and Don’t Give up

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:  For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust. Psalms 103: 11 – 14

Thought:  Prayer – Always Pray and Don’t Give up

Knowing God:

Unless we know God in a personal way through the love of Christ Jesus we cannot love God. If we don’t have the love of God we may not carry the Word of God. If we don’t have the Word of God we can’t have the fear of God.

When we know He loves us, we can believe He will hear our cries for help. Holy Spirit is the key person to reveal the divine essence of God in Christ Jesus.

May God enhance our Spiritual eyes to see the marvelous light in Christ Jesus!

Fan or Follower

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:  “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9: 23

Thought:  Fan or Follower!

Not a fan 3

In order to carry the cross we must “put down” some things:  what is the LORD calling you to put down?

Citizens of Heaven

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: But we are the citizens of heaven, where the LORD Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under control.

Thought:

God’s Sovereign Plan:

Citizens of heaven have to promote heaven’s interests on earth and lead lives worthy of heavenly citizenship. As Bible says we are here living as aliens and strangers. In this faith journey, God is equipping us to live forever with him. Our earthly pleasures and treasures should not be a hurdle in our walk with Christ Jesus.

Have you transferred your citizenship? How are you promoting heaven’s interest?
