The Parable of the Loving Father

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: The Joys of Salvation:

“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! Luke 15: 17

Thought:

The story of the lost son wonderfully demonstrates the theme of Luke’s gospel and the keys to spiritual renewal.

Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19: 9-10

We are saved by God’s grace, and grace is love that pays a price. The sovereignty of God and the responsibility of mankind must be balanced.

Gospel Doctrine Leads to Gospel Culture – Living Like Jesus

Word:

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6: 8

Thought:

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30; The Message (MSG)Have a Victorious walk in Christ

Practical and Victorious Christian Life

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Word: “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 41 – 42.

Thought:

To live a practical and victorious Christian life we must keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ without any distractions. Distractions diminish our devotion to Jesus. In contrast, our devotion to Jesus diminish our distractions.

A Tree and Its Fruit

Dear all, Let us continue to walk humbly and live for Christ Jesus as witnesses.
Word: Luke 6: 37-49

A Tree and Its Fruit
“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.
Luke 6: 43-44Thought: Jesus uses a clear example to share a very powerful principle.  “Confession without obedience has no substance.” But, the Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms us from the inside out. Overall, we are the living witnesses to share the love of Christ Jesus until the end of the earth.

Do Not Do Evil for Evil, But Do Good!

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” Job 42: 2

Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9

Thought:

God is Sovereign: Because God controls all things, and He can ultimately work all things together for good even those things meant for evil.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Past…Present…Future!

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: Gift of Forgiveness in Christ Jesus – Romans 5: 5 – 20

But the gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

Thought:

Through the cross of Christ Jesus, we have salvation and new life. Moreover, we also have an excellent opportunity to be born into His spiritual family. Certainly, this spiritual family line starts with His amazing forgiveness and results in everlasting life. Overall, In Christ Jesus, we have peace with the past, purpose in present, and hope for the future.

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

10-lep

Thought:  10 men cried out to God for help and He healed them. But, only one returned to thank him. It is possible to receive God’s great gifts with an ungrateful spirit. Only grateful Christians grow in understanding God’s grace.

If we were in that position what will be our response? Never forget God’s goodness in your life.

Prayer – Always Pray and Don’t Give up

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:  For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust. Psalms 103: 11 – 14

Thought:  Prayer – Always Pray and Don’t Give up

Knowing God:

Unless we know God in a personal way through the love of Christ Jesus we cannot love God. If we don’t have the love of God we may not carry the Word of God. If we don’t have the Word of God we can’t have the fear of God.

When we know He loves us, we can believe He will hear our cries for help. Holy Spirit is the key person to reveal the divine essence of God in Christ Jesus.

May God enhance our Spiritual eyes to see the marvelous light in Christ Jesus!

God offers comforts to all:

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:

God offers comforts to all:

2 Corinthians 1:3-7New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in [a]any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are [b]ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+1%3A3-7&version=NASB

Thought: Being comforted by God – Receiving strength, encouragement, and hope to deal with our troubles. The more we suffer, the more comfort God gives us. If you are feeling overwhelmed, allow God to comfort you. Remember that every trial we endure for the Kingdom of God will help us comfort other people who are suffering similar troubles.
