Godly Woman – Proverb 31: 10-31

The top four outstanding qualities of a Godly woman: Godly Woman – Proverb 31: 10-31

Commitment / Loyalty

Industrious / Diligent

Charity / Love

Beautiful speech /  Wise and kind words

A godly woman has an excellent spirit of devotion and the essence of excellence. She is honorable, faithful, pure, upright before God, family, and others, trustworthy, capable, intelligent, diligent, generous, and kind. She works with her hands and provides food for her household. The Holy Spirit controls the tongue and gives a beautiful speech, which spills from the Holy Spirit-filled hearts. The Bible says in Proverbs 11:13, A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 12:18.

Let us train our eyes to see well, tongue to speak well, and ears to hear well. Do not allow them to wander to their will and wish, making us miserably fail and fall. Make Bible reading, meditation, prayer time, and witness-full life inseparable habits; they are the four pillars for a strong Christ Jesus-centered Spiritual life.

Refrain from evil things because, behind every evil thing, only the evil-doer devil will be there!

Looks don’t last; Character does. Superficial attractions may prove inadequate in the long run.

People, Places, and Things!

People, Places, and Things!

God could move people, places, and things to accomplish His will. Trust God!

Mountains and Valleys of Life:

Deuteronomy 11: 11-12 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

Psalms 23: 4 says, Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

God made everything in the cosmos, from the microscopic amoeba and things to the vast planets and galaxies. For example, The radius of the sun is 432,690 miles.

A few days ago, we saw a beautiful rainbow on top of our city. What’s all about the rainbow?

Noah: A bright star in a dark sky! God says in  Genesis 9:13-16, I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth, and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”The Bible also talks about Noah’s time and Lot’s time. Luke 17: 26-29:” Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then, the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

Jesus says in verse 32, Remember Lot’s wife! Moral values, purity in heart, and sexual purity have become less important in Noah and Lot’s time. Sad progression in fascination with living on the edge. Sin is serious; do not play with it.

The Bible says in James 4:7, Come near to God, and he will come near to you. True contentment comes only when we submit our lives to God and follow his plan. The word “remember” from a Google search shows as follows: The root word for “remember” is memor, which means “remembering”. The word “remember” comes from the Middle English word remembren, which comes from the Anglo-French word remembrer, which comes from the Late Latin word rememorari. Rememorari comes from the Latin words re- and memorari, which mean “to be mindful of” and “mindful”, respectively.
Here are a few verses from the Bible that have the word “remember.

“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. Hebrews 8:12

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

But from everlasting to everlasting, the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. Psalm 103:17-18

God remembered His people in His time! Trust God and Trust His unseen hands!

Let us do some self-analysis in the presence of God and make wise choices in our walk with the LORD.

Living on Fire for the LORD

Dear all, May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. II Thes 2: 16 – 17

Word:
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have the divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 1 Thes 4:7 (NIV)

Thought: When God is supplying all our weapons for the spiritual battle, no challenge is too big to win. While we are walking through a rocky road – Remember Jesus also walked on the same road. So He can give strength to overcome evil with good. Knowing God in a personal way through Christ Jesus and also his eternal purpose for us will help us to be victorious through difficult times.

Reconciliation!

Dear all,

May God give you more and more grace and peace.

Word: So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we “Come back to God”. II Corinthians 5: 20

Thought:  As believers of Christ Jesus, we are Christ’s ambassadors, sent with His message of reconciliation to the world.

How well are we fulfilling our commission as Christ’s ambassadors?

Ambassadors of Christ Jesus!

Dear all,
Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10
Word: Ministry of Reconciliation
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us. so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.       2 Corinthians 5:18-21 (NIV)

Thought: We are called to be ambassadors for Christ Jesus and His Kingdom. An ambassador is an official representative of one country to another. As believers, we are Christ’s ambassadors, sent with the message of redemption in Christ Jesus to the World.

In what ways we are fulfilling our call?

Remember your call and we are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus!

Communion with God

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10

Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the Lord tests the heart. Proverbs 17:3

Thought: The born-again Christian’s most powerful resource is communion with God through prayer and living in the presence of God.

Prayer gives – power to the powerless, hope to the hopeless, and strength to the strengthless!

God will answer your Christ-Jesus-centered prayers in mysterious ways. Have a Victorious walk in Christ

Multiply – Disciples making disciples – Pass it on

Difficulties Vs Strength and sustainability

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8: 28-30

Thought:

In Christ Jesus, we have a better joy, a higher and lasting joy to cure depression or tension.  Submit yourself and draw constantly from his power. When you feel down, you may find it difficult to give thanks. Take heart – in all things. God works for our good if we love him and are called by him (Romans 8: 28-30). Thank God, not for your difficulties but for the strength and sustainability he is building in you through the difficult experiences of your life. You can be sure that God’s perfect love will see you through.

Your strength will equal your days. Deuteronomy 33: 25

Let us Hold Unswervingly to the Hope!

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thought:

Is fellowship vital for a believer? The hope we hold means that Jesus is the sole author of our salvation, should we then exclude ourselves from others. The Bible answers that in Hebrews 10 23:25, it mentions that we should tightly hold on to hope but at the same time we are also called to spur one another in doing good things and be encouraging to others. Also, it warns about some people who have a habit of not meeting. Though Christ alone is sufficient for our faith, how can we put that faith into action without outwardly showing that love among others, including believers? Hold on to fellowships if you are in one or seek and find fellowships if you are not in one, or in some cases even start one. In any case, do it prayerfully, listening to God’s will.

Word:

Hebrews 10:23-25

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Prayer:

Lord, we pray that you lead us to find fellowships and grow in them. We pray that we can encourage and love others. Amen.

Recognizing our critics

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thought:

Apostle Paul in his instructions to the church of Thessalonica asks them to recognize three important characteristics in people; those who work hard, those who care for others, and those who admonish others. It seems sensible and practical to appreciate hard-working and caring people but it’s not easy to appreciate them when they strongly criticize us. The type of admonishment that Paul talks about is done in love where the person who admonishes someone cares enough about them to boldly warn them of their sinful ways. A simple illustration is a mother admonishing her child for playing with fire. We know she does it in love and it is for the child’s well-being. As believers, we should be able to humbly accept and live with people who admonish us, at the same time, when a situation arises, we should also be courageous enough to admonish others in love.

Word:

1 Thessalonians 5: 12, 13

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord, and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.

Prayer:

Lord, help us to be humble when You or others admonish us, help us fix our sinful ways, and also give us the courage to admonish others in love. Amen.
