Wilderness has a purpose

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

 Word: Wilderness has a purpose:

Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4: 1- 4

Thought: Fasting is not to show how spiritually mature, or how special we are; It is not intended to reveal our great devotion to God. It is not to impress other people. It is also not a demonstration of how much discipline we have.

Instead, fasting is a statement of how weak and needy we are. It is an admission of our desperation.

Submit to God and resist the devil in Jesus name (James 4:7). Be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Remember your call (John 21). Keep yourself pure (I Timothy 5:22). Do what is right, love mercy and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6: 8)

Have a Victorious walk in ChristPsalms 30 11
