God has placed a burden to send weekly encouraging emails to our friends. Initially we have sent to a team of friends. As the word of God says "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11) Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I (Jesus Christ) give will never thirst - not ever. The water I give will be an artisan spring within, gushing fountains of endless life. If any one thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way, just as the scripture says ' You'll be like a well watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. John 4: 13-14, John 7: 38-39; Isaiah 58:11 God's word: For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea. Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD: “The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.” So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem when the peoples and the kingdoms assemble to worship the LORD. Ps 102: 16 - 22 Then the word of the LORD came to me: "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. "Who despises the day of small things? Men will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. "(These seven are the eyes of the LORD, which range throughout the earth.)" Zechariah 4 : 8-10. Haggai 2 : 4 and 5 But now be strong, O Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD. 'Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD, 'and work. For I am with you,' declares the LORD Almighty. 'This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.' "THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS MUSTERING AN ARMY FOR WAR. IS 13:4" We have experienced the great favor and power of God in His words. Jesus said we are the light the world. Be a light.

Thought: God has chosen to be Christ’s representatives on earth. In light of this truth Paul challenges us to live lives worthy of the calling we have received – the privilege of being called Christ’s very own. This includes being humble, gentle, patient, understanding, and peaceful. People are watching our life. Can they see Christ in us? How well are we doing as His representative?

Word of God is alive and active

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Word:
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4: 12 –13
Thought:
The word of God is living, life-changing, and dynamic as it works in us. With the incisiveness of a surgeon’s knife, God’s word God’s word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. It discerns what is within us, both good and evil. The demands of God’s word require decisions. We must not only listen to the word; we must also let it shape our lives.

Word: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12: 21
Thought: Forgiveness involves both attitudes and actions. If you find it difficult to feel forgiving toward someone who has hurt you, try responding with kind actions.

Can a believer hide the light of Christ Jesus in him???? What the Bible says

Greetings. May God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Word: Matthew 5: 14 –17 says, you are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Thought:
Can you hide a city that is sitting on top of a mountain? Its light at might can be seen for miles. If we live for Christ we will glow like lights, showing others what Christ is like.

We hide our light by
• 1. Being quiet when we should speak
• 2. Going along with the crowd
• 3. Denying the light
• 4. Letting sin dim the light
• 5. Not explaining our light to others
• 6. Ignoring the needs of others
Let us be an inspiration of truth

SALT – No Flavor No Value

Greetings. May God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Word: You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
Thought: If seasoning has no flavor, it has no value. If Christians make no effort to affect the world around them, they are of little value to God. Christians should impact others positively, just as seasoning brings out the best flavor in food.

Greetings in the trustworthy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Word: Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV)
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5: 4-5
Thought: Oh the wonders of prayer!
Abraham’s servant prays… Rebekah appears. Jacob wrestles and prays and prevails with Christ…Esau’s mind is wonderfully turned from the revengeful purpose he has harbored for twenty years. Moses cries to God…the sea divides. Moses prays…Amalek is discomfited. Joshua prays…Achan is discovered. Hannah prays…Samuel is born. David prays…Ahithophel hangs himself. Asa prays…a victory is gained. Jehoshaphat cries to God…God turns away his foes. Isaiah prays…the dream is revealed. Daniel prays…the lions are muzzled. Daniel prays…the seventy weeks are revealed. Ezra prays at Ahava… God answers. Nehemiah starts a prayer… the king’s heart is softened in a minute. Elijah prays… a drought of three years succeeds. Elijah prays… rain descends like lightning. Elisha prays… Jordan is divided, The church prays fervently… Peter is delivered by an angel.
The weapon of prayer against the forces of evil prevails. It brings power. It brings fire. It brings rain. It brings life. It brings God! There is no power of prevailing prayer.
Dare to be definite with God like the heroes of faith.

May God give you more and more grace and peace.
Word: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. (Zech 4:6)
Thought:
I cannot always understand,

The way God leadeth me,

The why, and when and wherefore

Is oft a mystery.

But I can trust His wisdom,

I know His way is best,

His heart knows no unkindness

And on His love I rest – Author Unknown

God’s quiet performances are indirect, deep and tremendously wise. God works through individuals, conquering some heart intentionally through that heart He pours His purpose like a mighty river. Make Every Effort – Ultimately depending on God – Part II

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; II Peter 1: 4-6

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, II Peter 1:10

But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. II Peter 3:13-15

Thought:

Peter concludes this brief letter as he began, urging his readers to grow in the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every day we need to draw closer to Christ Jesus so that we will be prepared to stand for truth in any and all circumstances.
