God’s deep secrets

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Phil 1: 2

Word:

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Cor 2: 9-10.

Thought:

“God’s deep secrets” refers to God’s unfathomable nature and his wonderful plan – Jesus’ death and resurrection – and to the promise of salvation, revealed only to those who believe that what God says is true.

Life Style

Let us always remember to be humble and obedient so we could reflect Christ like characteristics in everything we do.

Word: There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Pro 6: 16-19

Thought:

Let us live a pattern of life that God approves.

afraid ???

Word:

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”   Acts 18: 9-10

Thought:

“Challenges are what make life interesting;

Overcoming them with the Christ’s power is what makes life meaningful”

Swimming against water

Word:

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

Thought:

Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

Going through rivers of difficulty will either cause you to drown or force you to grow stronger. If you go in your own strength, you are more likely to drown. If you invite the Lord to go with you, He will protect you.

New heart and New spirit

Word:

And they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”  But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. Mark 16:3-4.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel 36:26-27.Thought:

Memorize the scriptures, portion by portion and the Holy Spirit will remind them to you in times of temptations and fears so that you could rightly apply it and gain victory.

Do our actions match our words?

Word:

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Matthew 3:8

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Gal 5: 22-25.

Joshua told the people “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.” Joshua 3:5

Thought:

Do our actions match our words?

An ounce of Christian life example is equal to tons of advice.

Jesus Christ’s Kingdom

Word and Thought:

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Cor 10:3, 4)

The weapons of spiritual warfare are not worldly. They are powerful through God to demolish the devil’s forts. We don’t wage war with human plans and methods. Remember, we should always sharpen our spiritual weapons in prayer and by waiting before God with perseverance (Eph 6:13 -18).

The Lord of the Armies is with us. We stand still and know that He is God! (Psa 46:9-11). Stop and listen to Him before you proceed!

When God is supplying all your weapons for the spiritual battle, no challenge is too big to win. While you are walking through the rocky road – Remember Jesus also walked on the same road. So He is able to give strength to overcome the evil with good.

Whatever the resources we have let us use them for the development of Christ’s kingdom. Moses had a stick – God asked Moses what is in your hand and God used Moses mightily. David had a pebble – God has used that pebble. Gideon – God encouraged him by addressing him as a” mighty man”. Now whatever resources we have in our hands – let us use for Christ’s Kingdom.

Though the ills of earth may wound me,

And the storms of life confound me—

With His loving arms around me,

I’ll go with Him all the way!

(Fanny J. Crosby, 1823-1915)

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus

Word of God:

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Heb 12: 2-3

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Psalms 84: 3

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 41 – 42.

Thought:

To live a practical and a victorious christian life we must keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our King and we are His People. He is our role model too.
