“Talitha kum!”

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word: Taking the child by the hand, He *said to her, “Talitha kum!” (which translated means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). 42 Immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astounded.

Thought: What role Jesus played in Peter, James and John’s life?

Jesus played a significant role in these peoples’ life. He changed their attitudes, characters, life style and changed their destination in a heavenly way.

‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 4: 6

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 4: 6

Thought: Many people believe that to thrive in this world the person must be tough, strong, unbending and harsh. But God says, “Not by force nor by strength, but by  my Spirit.” The key word is “by my Spirit.”

As you lead a Christ centered life, determine not to trust in your own strength or abilities. Instead, depend on God’s unlimited resources and work in the power of His Spirit.

Precious and glorious name of our resurrected Lord and Savior

Dear all,

We greet you in the most precious and glorious name of our resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We wish you all a HAPPY EASTER!

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8: 11

Thought:

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian and He gives the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

“The Triumphal entry into Jerusalem”

Dear all,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: “The Triumphal entry into Jerusalem”

21 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” Matthew 21:1-3

The Coming of Zion’s King

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Zechariah 9:9

Thought:

The triumphal entry of Jesus was predicted by Zechariah more than 500 years before it happened. Just as this prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus came to earth, the prophesies of his second coming are certain to come true. We are to be ready for his return, for he is coming!

Don’t let the cares of this life weigh us down. Be ready;

Prepare to meet your God, O Israel Amos 4:12

Be strong and glad!

Atonement – Reconciliation In Christ Jesus

Atonement – Reconciliation In Christ Jesus

CROSS

Galatians 2: 20 says, my old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Thought:

Our Journey in Christ began when in unity with him we died to our old life (Romans 6: 5 – 11). And yet the focus of Christianity is not on dying but on living. Because we have been crucified with Christ, we have also been raised with him. We are reconciled with God through the resurrected power of Christ Jesus.

We are never alone in this planet because Christ Jesus lives in us. He gives the power to the powerless and strength to the weak. He is the true source for the fullness of life and tangible hope for the future (Colossians 1: 27).

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead: Are you guilty about your past?

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead: Are you guilty about your past?

Philippians 3: 10 – 14 says that, I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5 7

Christian faith is a race and Christ Jesus is running with us. Whenever we fail, He is able to carry us, even through the storm. Here, Paul sets his goal to know Christ Jesus, to be like Him, and to be all Christ had in mind for him. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal but know Christ  single mindedly without wavering, like an athlete in dynamic training. We must lay aside everything harmful and forsake anything that may distract us from being effective Christians.

What is holding you back? Break every chain in the mighty name of Jesus!

Remember His promises and live with His power every day without fail.

The cure for the complaining spirit

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word: The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard

Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

Thought: The cure for the complaining spirit is the discipline of noticing the goodness of God in our lives. We need to learn how to pay attention, to slow down and see what God has done and is doing all around us. Let us be more thankful to God for who He is and how he has chosen us when we were away from Him.

God’s clock doesn’t function like man’s clock . Yes..

Dear all,
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13
Word of God:
Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43: 3
Keep your conscience clear. 1 Peter 3: 16
You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing. Psalms 65: 11-13

Couple of thoughts:
· God’s clock doesn’t function like man’s clock.

· Never under estimate the resurrected power of Christ Jesus in you. Retain the promises of God in your consciousness. This will give the strength to overcome every difficulty you are facing in this faith journey.

· Be brave in Christ Jesus. Ask God to fill your heart with the confidence in Christ Jesus.

· How often do we pour out our heart to God? How often do you give him a specific request to answer?

· True faith in Christ Jesus transforms our conduct, attitude, character, speech pattern, motives and actions.

· Motives are just as important as actions.

· Quiet convictions often earn long term respect.

· God’s opinion is important.

· Remembering God’s faithfulness is worth a pause for reflection.

· When God forgives our sins He totally forgets them.

· Don’t stop trusting God just as you are ready to reach your goal.

· Be corrected by God and become who God intended. Train your tongue to speak well!

· Are you a fan or follower? No matter what the cost, let us follow the foot prints of Jesus.
