Thought: How can you come close to God?

Remember your call and never forget your identity in Christ Jesus. Accept God’s way of living in every phase of your life.

Humble yourselves before God. Yield to His authority and will, commit your life to Him and His control and be willing to follow Him. Resist the devil in Jesus’ name. Don’t permit devil’s traps to entice and tempt you.

Word: James 2:14-17 – Faith and Deeds – What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Word: John 17: 20 “The Prayer of LORD Jesus Christ” – I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.
Thought: LORD Jesus prayed for all who follow Him, including you and others you know. He prayed for unity (John 17: 11), protection from evil one (John 17: 15) and holiness (John 17: 17). Knowing that Christ Jesus prayed for us should give us confidence and courage as we work for His Kingdom.

Thought:
It is important to listen to what God’s Word says, but it is much more important to obey it and to do what it says, We can measure the effectiveness of our Bible Study time by the effect it has on our behavior and attitudes.

Thought: Choose life! Please God always! Pray for discernment and wisdom to make the correct choices. Remember, desire leads to deception. Deception leads to lust. Lust conceives plans to disobey. A disobedient person will end up in the lake of fire.
