Godly thoughts – Acceptable speech pattern – Christ centered motives

Word:  “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.” Matthew 15:17-20

Thought: We work hard to keep our outward appearance attractive, but what is deep down in our heart is more important to God. When people become followers of Christ, God makes them different on the inside. He will continue the process of transformation inside them if only they ask and seek. God wants us to have a healthy relationship with Him and others by Godly thoughts, acceptable speech pattern and Christ centered motives.

Who is your guide?

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word:

Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth that is what defiles them.” Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.  Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:10-14

Thought:  Who is your guide? Make sure that those you listen to and learn from are those with good spiritual eyesight – they teach and follow the principles of Scripture.

Jesus doesn’t need fans but needs disciples (Those who listen to His word and put it in to action).

Marvel of Christmas

Dear all,
Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10
Word: John 1: 14 says, and the word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Thought: The marvel of Christmas is Jesus and all He means to those who “Believe”.

LORD Jesus – Plan for us

Dear all,
Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10
Word: I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2: 20
Thought: Our Christian life begins, when we accept Christ Jesus as our personal Savior. We are no longer slaves to sin and no longer alone, for Christ Jesus lives in us. He is the source of our power for living a blameless Christian life and our hope for the future. No longer pray “Lord, bless all our plans” instead pray “Lord, Plan for us, because our future is in Your mighty hands”
God's Master plan

Yes, because Jesus lives, we can face tomorrow!

Jesus among His Disciples – Peace be with you

Dear all,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Word: Jesus among His Disciples
19 So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you. John 20: 19-21

Thought: Is there any area you are not believing in God? Is there any area in your life that Jesus would say “stop doubting and believe”? Is there something you have not seen – yet want to believe today?

Precious blood of Christ Jesus

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10
For you know that it is not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. …..Through Him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. (1 Peter 1: 18-21)

Thought:
It is through His death on the cross as God’s perfect sacrifice for sin and His resurrection three days later that we can now have eternal life if we believe in him. The fact that God Himself has provided the offering that atones for our sin is part of the glorious good news of the gospel.
