Fear not! Stand Still! See the miraculous deliverance of our Lord!

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Fear not! Stand Still! See the miraculous deliverance of our Lord!

13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14: 13 – 14

Trusting in the LORD Jesus is the patient expectation that God will fulfill His promises in his Word and strengthen us to rise above life’s difficulties.

Do you have confident in Christ Jesus that His purposes are right? Do you believe God loves you and wants the best for you?

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Ruth 3: 18 – Sit still; Psalms 46 – Be still – To see the glory of God

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

  1. Then she said, “Wait, my daughter, until you know how the matter turns out; for the man will not rest until he has settled it today.”

  1. “Cease strivingand know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Thought:

Let us understand the Word of God and apply it in our day-to-day life in every dimension. In addition, let us share the love of Christ Jesus to as many people as we can. Who knows? Ruth 3: 2 says “And it happened”. In our LORD’S Sovereign plan He decided to bring Ruth as “Mother of Kings” and our LORD Jesus when he came to this world, he came as a descendant of Ruth (Matthew 1: 5). We should never under estimate the resurrected power of Christ Jesus in us.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Made Alive In Christ Jesus

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Made Alive In Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2: 1-10

Word: For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [h]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Verses 8 – 10).

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+2%3A1-10&version=NASB

Thought:  The advantages of new life through our LORD Jesus Christ are in multiple folds. For example, we can live under an open heaven. Living under an open heaven means we are God’s children and our day-to-day life will be totally transformed by Christ’s resurrection power for His glory. A transformed life is an effective witness to the power of God’s Word. It is not based on the righteous works we do, but only by His grace.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Gift of Forgiveness in Christ Jesus

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

As we studied about God’s amazing forgiveness in Psalms 51, let us continue to remember His goodness and faithfulness in our life.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+51&version=NASB

Word: Gift of Forgiveness in Christ Jesus – Romans 5: 5 – 20

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+5%3A12+-+20&version=NASB

But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

Thought:

Through the cross of Christ Jesus we have salvation and new life. Moreover, we also have an excellent opportunity to be born into His Spiritual family. Certainly, this spiritual family line starts with His amazing forgiveness and results in everlasting life.

Are you confessing the same sins over and over?

Dear all,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and we wish you a blessed New Year. As we continue to learn more about wisdom let us live obedient to His Word.

Word:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20John%201:9

Thought: Are you confessing the same sins over and over?

When we come to Christ and genuinely confess our sins to God, He forgives our sins. True confession also includes a strong and unwavering commitment to not continue to live in sin. In addition, we need to remain strong in Christ and set godly boundaries. God is able to give us the strength we need to defeat temptation and trials every single time. Totally relying on His power is more than enough to lead a victorious Christian life.

Inner Essence of Worship

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God:

45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke+1%3A+26-45&version=NIV

The inner essence of worship is to know God truly and then to respond from the heart to that knowledge by: valuing God, treasuring God, prizing God, enjoying God being satisfied with God above all earthly things. And then that deep, restful, joyful satisfaction in God overflows in demonstrable acts of love in serving others for the sake of Christ Jesus. – John Piper.

Application:

1.      Is Jesus asking me to obey Him in a specific area?

2.      How can I be a true worshipper of Jesus this Christmas season?

What we feed our minds?

Dear all,

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace and bless you as a channel of blessings.

Acts 14: 17 says “He sends rain and good crops and give you food and joyful hearts”.

Let us receive His blessings and share the blessings to many nations.

Thought:

What we feed our minds is just more as important as what we feed our bodies. The kinds of websites we visit, kinds of books we read, the people we talk with, the Christian music we listen to, and the Christian preachers we listen to are all part of our mental diet. Be discerning, because what you feed your mind influences your total health and well-being. Thus a strong desire like Heroes of faith Joshua, Daniel, and Paul etc etc (Hebrews 11) to discover knowledge is a mark of wisdom in Christ Jesus. Our attitude colors our whole personality. The true happiness in Christ Jesus is in your thoughts not based on the things what we have. We cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose our attitude toward each situation. The secret to a joyful heart is filling our mind with thoughts that dwell on the good things in life (Philip 4: 8). This was Paul’s secret as he faced imprisonment because of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus and it can be ours as we face struggles of daily living. Look and check your attitude and then examine in the presence of God what you allow to enter your mind and what you choose to dwell on. You may need to make some positive changes and seek to do what is right, walk humbly with the LORD Jesus Christ in this Journey (Zephaniah 2: 3). Be the Church (Romans 12:3-5) and be the tent maker like Aquila and Pricilla’s family (Acts 18:1-4; 18-20; 24-26).

Arise and Shine for Christ Jesus

Have a blessed walk in Christ

Wish you all a Christ centered Christmas season

Four types of soils: What kind of soil are you?

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Four types of soils: What kind of soil are you?

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+13%3A19-23&version=NIV

When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soilrefers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matthew 13:19-23 New International Version (NIV).

Thought:

The four types of soils represent different responses to God’s message. People respond differently because they are in different states. Some are hardened, others are shallowothers are contaminated by distracting by distracting worriesand some are receptive.

How has God’s Word taken root in your life?

What kind of soil are you?

Let us be ready to accept the Word of God and grow in Christ Jesus and live for Him.

sIn Vs SON – Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:  Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ – Romans 6

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%206

Thought: Have you stepped into Christ? Are you living on a plane far above evil principalities and powers? Have you come to the end of “self”? Remember, I never brings anything but failures. It is the I in “s-I-n” that must be removed put O in its place and you have “SON”. He will give you victory! – Adapted from “What the Bible is All About by Henrietta Mears”

‘God’s deep secrets’

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him. These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.1 Corinthians 2:9-10

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+2%3A9-10&version=NASB

Thought:

‘God’s deep secrets’ refer to God’s unfathomable nature and his wonderful plan – Jesus’ Death and Resurrection and the promise of salvation, revealed only to those who believe that what God says is true.

God never forgets His People. He is good at all time. God’s eyes are watching us and His grace and mercy are hovering over us. Honestly, we cannot hide anything from Him.

Be brave!
