Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: “For unto us a child is born, unto us, a Son is given”. (Isaiah 9:6)

Thought: God sent us the light of the world Jesus Christ to show His light to those who are in darkness. God sent us the Savior to seek and save those who are lost.

How did Christ’s Resurrection Influence your Spiritual Journey?

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8: 11

Thought:

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith, we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian and He gives the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

How did Christ’s resurrection influence your spiritual walk?

We can trust God with anything because the resurrection changes everything.

Rich in Christ-Jesus

Dear all,

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16: 13 -14.

Word: 1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NASB)

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.

Thought:  Be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share. Faith, service, and obedience are the way to become rich toward God.

Having, First, gained all you can, and, Secondly saved all you can, Then give all you can. – John Wesley

How is our attitude towards money? Be a good steward of God-given resources!

“Personal Evangelism “ – “One Person with God is a Majority”

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God:

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. II Timothy 2: 2

Thought: “Personal Evangelism “ – “One Person with God is a Majority”

Personal evangelism plays a major role in making disciples for LORD Jesus Christ. The ministry is not something we get for ourselves and keep to ourselves. We are stewards of the spiritual treasure God has given us. It is our responsibility to guard the deposit and then invest in the lives of others. They, in turn, are to share the Word with the next generation of believers. – Adapted from Warren Wiersbe Bible commentary.

Have you ever considered how one generation carries the Gospel of Christ Jesus to the next generation? Have you ever wondered what would happen to the Gospel of Christ Jesus if one generation failed to pass it on?

Revival is an experience in the Church; Evangelism is an expression of the Church – Paul-S. Rees.

Pass it on! Proclaiming Jesus Wherever He Leads us!

By Grace Vs No by Works – Faith Journey In Christ Jesus

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2Faith 12

Word:

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2: 9 – 10.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last – and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+15%3A+16&version=NIV

Thought: Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

We are God’s new creation and God continues to work in us to make us what He wants us to be. To do this God uses three tools.

  1. Word of God
  2. Prayer
  3. Suffering

As we read God’s Word, understand it, meditate on it, and feed on it, the Word goes to work in our lives to cleanse us and nourish us. As we pray, God’s Spirit works in us to release power. And as we suffer, the Spirit of God ministers to us. Suffering drives us back to the Word and prayer, and the cycle is repeated. Adapted from Warren W. Wiersbe’s Bible Commentary.

Moving Forward

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word:

Philippians 3:12-14

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+3%3A12-14&version=NIV

Thought:

Paul said that his goal was to know Christ in a personal way, and to be all Christ had in mind for him. This goal took all of Paul’s energies, focus and time. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal. Knowing Christ with the single-mindedness of an athlete in training we must lay aside everything harmful and forsake anything that may distract us from being effective and mission minded Christians.

Weapons of Spiritual Warfare are not Worldly

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word and Thought:

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Corinthians10:3, 4)

The weapons of spiritual warfare are not worldly. They are powerful through God to demolish the devil’s forts. We don’t wage war with human plans and methods. Remember, we should always sharpen our spiritual weapons in prayer and by waiting before God with perseverance (Ephesians 6:13 -18).

The Lord of the Armies is with us. We stand still and know that He is God! (Psalms 46:9-11). Stop and listen to Him before you proceed!

When God is supplying all your weapons for the spiritual battle, no challenge is too big to win. While you are walking through the rocky road – Remember Jesus also walked on the same road. So He is able to give strength to overcome the evil with good.

Whatever the resources we have let us use them for the development of Christ’s kingdom. Moses had a stick – God asked Moses what is in your hand and God used Moses mightily. David had a pebble – God has used that pebble. Gideon – God encouraged him by addressing him as a” mighty man”. Now whatever resources we have in our hands – let us use for Christ’s Kingdom.

Though the ills of earth may wound me,

And the storms of life confound me—

With His loving arms around me,

I’ll go with Him all the way!

LORD JesusChrist – Alpha and the Omega

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1: 8

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation+1%3A8&version=NIV

Thought: He is God of the past, present and future, bending time ti His perfect will, unfettered by its constraints. He is never late, never subject to the tyranny of a deadline, never in a hurry, never playing catch-up with a schedule that has careened out of control (Ecclesiastes 3).

Peace with God In Christ Jesus

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God: Romans 5: 1-2

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b]boast in the hope of the glory of God.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+5&version=NIV

Thoughts: When we accept LORD Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, a significant exchange takes place in our heart. We give Him our sins, and He forgives and makes us right with God. Are we right with God? If not today is the day of Salvation.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.
