Guerrilla Warfare – Put On the Full Armor of God!

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Thought:

There are some God ordained ways you can handle the ‘guerrilla warfare’ in your day-to-day life. Rely on God’s absolute strength and also adapt every piece of his Armor. The whole body needs to be armed to lead a victorious Christian life. And also remember His promises and follow the foot prints of Christ Jesus intensely. As a result the rest of our life will straighten out for His glory by His power.

Spiritual Warfare is Real – So, we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil!

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: 1 John 2:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+John+2:16

Thought:  Know who you are in Christ Jesus, and know your enemy!

So we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil.

The world comes at us from the outside bombarding us with counterfeits to truth.

The flesh comes at us from the inside.

The devil is constantly and continuously attacking us, usually working through the world and the flesh rather than mounting a full-on attack.

All three of them try to subdue us without fighting. They attack us at our weak points.  To stand firm in our battle, we need to know the truth and permit the truth to penetrate into our minds.

”You know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 32

True Christian Life is not a Playground, but a Battle Ground

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Ephesians 6

Word: The Whole Armor of God:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+6%3A+10+-17&version=NASB

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Thought:

True Christian life is not a playground, but a battle ground. To thrive in every battle against the strategies and tactics of satanic forces, we need to absolutely rely on God’s strength. Apply every piece of his armor (defense and offence). When we continue to walk with the LORD step by step and day by day, He will turn every battle into an excellent opportunity to show His power, resulting in bringing glory to His name.

The Cleansed Life – Godly Sorrows Vs Worldly Sorrows

Dear all,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2

Word: Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+7:10

Thought: The Cleansed Life – Godly Sorrows Vs Worldly Sorrows

If the Holy Spirit was sent to give us power to live a victorious life in all the areas of our life, why do we feel so powerless, so defeated?  Do we have any unconfessed sin in our life? What kind of concerns do we have in our lives? Is it Godly or worldly? God does not fill an unclean vessel with His limitless power and His amazing love. The vessels of our lives must be cleansed by the blood of our LORD Jesus before it can be filled with the Holy Spirit of God.

The Record of Jesus’ Ancestors

Dear all,

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1: 3 – 4

Word: The Record of Jesus’ Ancestors

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+1

Thought:

God used Matthew to write the gospel book of Matthew. In the first 17 verses we meet 46 people whose lifetimes span 2,000 years. As you can see that, God employs people from diverse and unusual backgrounds to accomplish his purposes. This should give us hope that God can give us a productive future no matter how sinful our past. God’s plan continues to unfold. Amazingly, that plan includes you.

Memories of God’s Miracles and Faithfulness

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

 Word: “Living with grateful Heart”

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2077

11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

Thought:

Memories of God’s miracles and faithfulness sustained Israel through their difficulties. They knew that God was capable and trustworthy. When you meet new challenges, review how good God has been to you and your family, and this will strengthen your faith.

May God bless and strengthen you all the days of your life. Ephesians 6: 12 -17

What we feed our minds?

Dear all,

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace and bless you as a channel of blessings.

Acts 14: 17 says “He sends rain and good crops and give you food and joyful hearts”.

Let us receive His blessings and share the blessings to many nations.

Thought:

What we feed our minds is just more as important as what we feed our bodies. The kinds of websites we visit, kinds of books we read, the people we talk with, the Christian music we listen to, and the Christian preachers we listen to are all part of our mental diet. Be discerning, because what you feed your mind influences your total health and well-being. Thus a strong desire like Heroes of faith Joshua, Daniel, and Paul etc etc (Hebrews 11) to discover knowledge is a mark of wisdom in Christ Jesus. Our attitude colors our whole personality. The true happiness in Christ Jesus is in your thoughts not based on the things what we have. We cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose our attitude toward each situation. The secret to a joyful heart is filling our mind with thoughts that dwell on the good things in life (Philip 4: 8). This was Paul’s secret as he faced imprisonment because of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus and it can be ours as we face struggles of daily living. Look and check your attitude and then examine in the presence of God what you allow to enter your mind and what you choose to dwell on. You may need to make some positive changes and seek to do what is right, walk humbly with the LORD Jesus Christ in this Journey (Zephaniah 2: 3). Be the Church (Romans 12:3-5) and be the tent maker like Aquila and Pricilla’s family (Acts 18:1-4; 18-20; 24-26).

Arise and Shine for Christ Jesus

Have a blessed walk in Christ

Wish you all a Christ centered Christmas season

sIn Vs SON – Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:  Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ – Romans 6

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%206

Thought: Have you stepped into Christ? Are you living on a plane far above evil principalities and powers? Have you come to the end of “self”? Remember, I never brings anything but failures. It is the I in “s-I-n” that must be removed put O in its place and you have “SON”. He will give you victory! – Adapted from “What the Bible is All About by Henrietta Mears”

Ministry of Reconciliation

Dear all,

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43: 3

Word: Ministry of Reconciliation

18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.       2 Corinthians 5:18-21 (NIV)

Thought:

We are called to be ambassadors for Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.

An ambassador is an official representative of a country to another. As believers, we are Christ’s ambassadors, sent with the message of redemption in Christ Jesus to the World.

In what ways we are fulfilling our call?

“When Nothing Makes Sense – Remember God is in Control”

Dear all,
May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1: 2
Word:
Faith in Action
11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+11
John 11: 40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+11&version=NIV
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians+5&version=NIV
Thought:
When nothing makes sense, and when troubles seem more than you can bear, remember that God gives strength. Our feelings should not be controlled by the events around us, but by faith in God’s ability, which will give us the essential strength. Take your eyes off your difficulties and look to Him. God’s time table is something only He has complete control over. He is Sovereign and He is in control. He can be trusted even when we can’t predict the outcome. He will give his disciples the strength and confidence in Christ Jesus during difficult times. God’s people need to live in the strength of His Spirit, confident in his ultimate victory over evil.
To sum up, we believers need to wait patiently with sincere hearts and minds as God gives us a chance to honor Him and absolutely surrender to His Sovereign will. As our faith is tested, we are pruned to grow and bear more Spiritual fruits (Galatians 5). God is never late (John 11), so let us not rush God’s plan. The only perfect timing is God’s and His alone. Honestly, His clock doesn’t function like man’s clock.
