Thought:

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian and He gives the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

Greetings in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. 
 
Herewith I am sending an abstract about prayers which is adapted from streams in the desert. I think this is well connected with our onging lessons.
 
 “Oh, the wonders of prayer! ‘Abraham’s servant prays…Rebekah appears. Jacob wrestles and prays and prevails with Christ…Esau’s mind is wonderfully turned from the revengeful purpose he has harbored for twenty years. Moses cries to God… the sea divides. Moses prays…Amalek is discomfited. Joshua prays…Achan is discovered. Hannah prays…Samuel is born. David prays…Ahithophel hangs himself. Asa prays…a victory is gained. Jehoshaphat cries to God….God turns away his foes. Isaiah prays…the dream is revealed. Danielprays…the lions are muzzled. Daniel prays…the seventy weeks are revealed. Ezra prays at Ahava…God answers. Nehemiah start a prayer…the King’s heart is softened in a minute. Elijah prays…a drought of three years succeeds. Elijah prays…rain descends apace. Elisha prays…Jordan is divided. The church prays fervently..Peter is delivered by an angel.

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:  For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust. Psalms 103: 11 – 14

 

Thought:  Prayer – Always Pray and Don’t Give up

Knowing God:

Unless we know God in a personal way through the love of Christ Jesus we cannot love God. If we don’t have the love of God we may not carry the Word of God. If we don’t have the Word of God we can’t have the fear of God.

When we know He loves us, we can believe He will hear our cries for help. Holy Spirit is the key person to reveal the divine essence of God in Christ Jesus.

May God enhance our Spiritual eyes to see the marvelous light in Christ Jesus!

Divine power of LORD Jesus

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. II Peter 1:2

Word:

                       His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. II Peter 1:3 and 4

Thought:

The power to lead a godly life comes from God. He allows us to “share his divine nature” in order to keep us away from sin and help us to live every day for him. When we are born again, God by his spirit empowers us with his own goodness to show the love of Christ to others.

Thought: Defining Moments: – We all face defining moments, times when we make a choice or take a course of action that changes the whole route of our life.  With one step, in a particular direction, our life moves on a new path way. These times, which impact us more than we can possibly dream or imagine, often come as we press forward on our uphill journey of faith in Christ Jesus.

Thought: The Strength of Solitude and Silence

When we take time to read the gospels closely we will notice how often, sprinkled among the narratives, are phrases such as, “And then Jesus withdrew and went to a quiet place.” In the language of spiritual development this is called solitude: carving out a space in your life where God can speak to you. It is being quiet, confident in Christ Jesus and eager to listen to His voice. In these quiet moments God speaks and He meets us.

Thought:

Returning to God is our choice! God promised us total restoration so that we could serve Him. As Christians and disciples of LORD Jesus, He is expecting us to speak well. Our speech pattern and thought process should always please God. Then we will be His spokesperson to share His love and compassion to this world.

 

As God’s ambassadors we need to influence people for Christ Jesus, not let the world influence us.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God:

At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision. Daniel 9: 23

Thought: Prayer: Two way communication

Prayer is an excellent bridge between Our Father in Heaven and us through our Loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is a precious gift which is given exclusively for HIS people. It is a very basic discipline of a born again Christian. Prayer is not to change God but to change our self according to God’s desire. We have to practice the praying habit according to our role model, Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 5:7, Matthew 26: 39 & 42). It is possible because He has promised us the Comforter Holy Spirit. The word of God says in Zechariah 4:6 – Not by might, nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord of hosts.
