SERVE THE PURPOSE OF GOD IN YOUR OWN GENERATION – ACTS 13: 36

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:        Luke 14: 25 – 33

  1. And if you do not carry your cross and follow me, you can not be my disciple.

Thought: Cost of True Christian Discipleship

LORD Jesus encouraged those who were superficial either to go deeper or to turn back. Following Christ Jesus means an absolute submission to do God’s will and follow His footprints.

SERVE THE PURPOSE OF GOD IN YOUR OWN GENERATION – ACTS 13: 36

Choose life!

Dear all,

May God bless and strengthen you all the days of your life Ephesians 6: 12 – 17

Word:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5-6

Thought:

Christ-Centered wisdom is a God-given gift. Its starting point is God and his revealed Word, the source of “knowledge and understanding”. The pathway to wisdom is active and when we are on the path, we discover that the true wisdom is God’s. Choose life! Please God always! Pray for discernment and wisdom to make the correct choices!

Let us Renew our Vision and Confidence in Christ Jesus

Dear all,

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.

1 Corinthians 16: 13 -14.

Word:  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18 – 20.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)

Thought: Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ Jesus.

Be brave and courageous! Our future is secure in Christ Jesus because he knows all about it.

Stand firm In Christ

The Lord of the Armies is with us. We stand still and know that He is God! (Psalms 46:9-11).

“JOYFUL JOURNEY WITH GOD IS INITIATED AND IGNITED IN LORD JESUS CHRIST BY THE POWER OF HOLY SPIRIT”

God’s Protection for His People

Dear all,

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Phil 1: 2

Word:

Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will ‘pass over’ it and will rescue it.”  Isaiah 31:5

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Matthew 23:37

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:8-9

God Wants to Walk with us before He Works through us

Dear all,

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Word: Enoch Walked with God – Hebrews 11: 5-6 (NIV)

By faith Enoch was taken from this life so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Thought:

God wants to walk with us before He works through us. His ways are reflected in our thoughts, our actions, our motivations, and our life choices because we spend so much time with Him.

How is our faith life? Are we spending quality time in the presence of God every day?  I personally believe that nothing is more important than carrying the presence of God wherever He leads us. God has called us to fix our eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12). Let us do some self-analysis and make corrections wherever required.

Never Underestimate God’s Love for us in Christ Jesus!

Dear all,

Be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. II Timothy 2: 1

Word: Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1: 3

“And the LORD formed the man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2: 7

Thought: The verb “formed” suggests the potter making a work of art in his skilled hands. The human body is indeed a work of art, an amazingly complex organism that only the wisdom of God could design and the power of God could create.

Elohim reveals His power by creating everything by merely speaking the Word. He created us by touching mud from the ground. This shows God’s love for mankind and He proved again His love by generously giving His son LORD Jesus Christ for us on the cross to make the path to salvation.

Never underestimate God’s love for us in Christ Jesus!

The Judge is Standing at the Door!

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1: 3

 Word:

Patience in Suffering

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise, you will be condemned.

Thought:

The spiritual root system is the fundamental foundation of our growth in Christ Jesus. Remember to rely on Him for everything. His promises are kept for you and will come true in His time. May God give us the patience to plan according to His master blueprint and wait and receive His blessings. The key idea is trust and obeys to accomplish His vision in our life.

Let us Live a Pattern of Life that God Approves

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us always remember to be humble and obedient so we could reflect Christ-like characteristics in everything we do.

Word: There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Pro 6: 16-19

Thought:

Let us live a pattern of life that God approves.

Obedience to God’s Word – Evidence of True Faith

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word:

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+43%3A2&version=NASB

Thought: Let us renew our vision and confidence in Christ.

Going through rivers of difficulty will either cause us to drown or force us to grow stronger. When we go in our own strength, we are more likely to drown. When we invite our LORD Jesus Christ to go with us, He will protect us and will take care us like the apple of his eyes.

Obedience to God’s word – Evidence of true faith (James 2: 14).

How to Run Continuously for the LORD?

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word:

The power of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel. I Kings 18: 46

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=I+Kings+18&version=NIV

“If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan? Jeremiah 12: 5

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah+12%3A5&version=NASB

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit. James 5: 17 – 18.

Thought:

God’s answers to prayer are not always nice or easy to handle. It may be “Yes” or “No” or “Wait”. Any true Christian who has experienced continuous failures or serious illness knows this. We are to be committed to God even when our prayers are not immediately answered by Him. Never underestimate the love of God for us in Christ Jesus (Romans 8: 28)!

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.
