Thought:

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian and He gives the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

OH,THE WONDERS OF PRAYER

Greetings in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. 
 
Herewith I am sending an abstract about prayers which is adapted from streams in the desert. I think this is well connected with our onging lessons.
 
 “Oh, the wonders of prayer! ‘Abraham’s servant prays…Rebekah appears. Jacob wrestles and prays and prevails with Christ…Esau’s mind is wonderfully turned from the revengeful purpose he has harbored for twenty years. Moses cries to God… the sea divides. Moses prays…Amalek is discomfited. Joshua prays…Achan is discovered. Hannah prays…Samuel is born. David praysAhithophel hangs himself. Asa praysa victory is gained. Jehoshaphat cries to God….God turns away his foes. Isaiah prays…the dream is revealed. Danielprays…the lions are muzzled. Daniel prays…the seventy weeks are revealed. Ezra prays at Ahava…God answers. Nehemiah start a prayer…the King’s heart is softened in a minute. Elijah praysa drought of three years succeeds. Elijah prays…rain descends apace. Elisha prays…Jordan is divided. The church prays fervently..Peter is delivered by an angel.

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1: 3 – 4.

Thought:

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

The secret of a joyful Christian life is being deeply rooted and grounded in Christ. It is very easy to get discouraged and distracted about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. No matter what kind of circumstances (Habakkuk 3: 17-19) we may have, still Sovereign God is on His throne and He is in control. Let us learn to see life with an eternal perspective through God’s Word

Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Thought:

Honestly, it is not enough to just hear or read the Word of God or even to know it well. We must also put into practice. Listening to the Word of God should lead us to meditating it and finally obeying the Word of God. The more we delight in obeying God, the more fruitful we are. How is our walk with the LORD? Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

What kind of software do we have?

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4: 8 – 9.

Thought:

What we put into our mind determines what comes out in our words and actions. We may refer to our body as the hardware and what we feed to our body as the software. What kind of software do we have? Christ centered thoughts will build our life in Christ. Paul tells us to program our mind with Christ centered thoughts. If needed we have to reboot the system for a fresh start. Let’s examine what we are feeding our hearts and minds. Let’s make sure to memorize the Word of God and apply whenever we are in the need of victory over satan’s direct and indirect attacks. We need to ask God to help us to focus our mind on what is good and pure with an eternal perspective.

Imagine never worrying about anything!

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thought: Imagine never worrying about anything! God’s peace is totally different from world’s peace. True peace is not found in positive thinking, in absence of conflict, in good feelings or with abundance of worldly blessings. It comes from knowing Christ in a personal way and believing that God is in control. Do we have this? Let God’s peace guard your heart against anxiety.

What kind of follower would a new Christian become if he or she imitated you?

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

Thought: Paul challenged the Philippians to pursue Christlikeness by following Paul’s own pattern of example.

What kind of follower would a new Christian become if he or she imitated you?

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 says that you yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Christianity is Not a Religion But Relationship In Christ Jesus

Thought:

Paul said that his goal was to know Christ in a personal way, and to be all Christ had in mind for him. This goal took all of Paul’s energies, focus and time. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal. Knowing Christ with the single-mindedness of an athlete in training we must lay aside everything harmful and forsake anything that may distract us from being effective and mission minded Christians.
