Thought: God gave Jesus authority over heaven and earth. On the basis of that authority, Jesus told his disciples to make more disciples as they preached, baptized, and taught. With this same authority Jesus still commands us to tell others the Good News and make them disciples for the Kingdom.

Question: Are we doing our part in this great mission?

How did Christ’s resurrection influence your spiritual walk?

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8: 11

Thought:

The Holy Spirit is God’s promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith we are certain to live with Christ forever. He is the power source behind the spiritual rebirth of every Christian and He gives the power to live a victorious Christian life in this world.

SPIRITUAL EYES

Dear Friends in Christ,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us remember the resurrected Lord Jesus’ Great Commission.

Thought:

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Cor 4:4

Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Thought:

Honestly, it is not enough to just hear or read the Word of God or even to know it well. We must also put into practice. Listening to the Word of God should lead us to meditating it and finally obeying the Word of God. The more we delight in obeying God, the more fruitful we are. How is our walk with the LORD? Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

What kind of software do we have?

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thought:

What we put into our mind determines what comes out in our words and actions. We may refer to our body as the hardware and what we feed to our body as the software. What kind of software do we have? Christ centered thoughts will build our life in Christ. Paul tells us to program our mind with Christ centered thoughts. If needed we have to reboot the system for a fresh start. Let’s examine what we are feeding our hearts and minds. Let’s make sure to memorize the Word of God and apply whenever we are in the need of victory over satan’s direct and indirect attacks. We need to ask God to help us to focus our mind on what is good and pure with an eternal perspective.

What kind of follower would a new Christian become if he or she imitated you?

Dear all,

Thought: Paul challenged the Philippians to pursue Christlikeness by following Paul’s own pattern of example.

What kind of follower would a new Christian become if he or she imitated you?

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 says that you yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Local Ministries Vs Global Ministries

Thought:

Even though Paul was in prison he is preaching about Christ. Circumstances cannot stop Christ’s work if we are doing God’s ministry according to His perfect plan. From the prison cell he indicates that we should honor those who give their lives for the sake of Christ, going where we cannot go ourselves. Our missionaries do that for us today by providing ministry where we are not able to go physically.

Are we supporting missionaries by prayers and sending some kind of support? We need to support local ministries as well as global ministries to share the love of Christ to those who are living next door as well as next continent. Jesus said come and I will make you fishers of man.

Psalm: 100: 3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Thought:

God doesn’t live in buildings but in people’s hearts. He made our heart for His dwelling. Have you experienced the true deliverance in Christ Jesus? If not, during this Christmas season come closer to the light of God’s presence and make a quick evaluation of your spiritual condition.

Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning – Luke 12: 35

Be – Personal call for you – God saved our forefathers through thousands of years, even in the middle of famine, war and natural calamities and brought us into this World. God’s sovereign plan in Christ Jesus for you and me was well planned by God before the foundations of the earth (Ephesians 1).

Dressed: Zechariah 3: 1-10 and Ephesians 6 talk about dress.  Dress is referred to as Salvation in Christ Jesus and full armor of God, with these dresses we will be secured and saved by God from satanic attacks. Submit to God and resist the devil in Jesus’ name.

For service: What is the ultimate service for us in this Earth? The answer is simple – sharing the love of Christ Jesus to the people those who are in need of salvation. Our life should have a solid foundation on the Word of God. We need to have  one desire, one passion, one goal and that is, to proclaim Jesus’ name by our words and actions everywhere (Matthew 7: 24).

Keep your lamps burning: Plug your mind in to the power of prayer and be filled with the Holy Spirit, which results in a continuous victorious walk in Christ in all the areas of your life. In which area do you need a continuous victory? Let us ask God like Jacob and He is ready to bless us with a victorious life. In addition, God called us to be a light in the darkness (Matthew 5). Oil lamp needs continuous supply of oil and if it is electric lamp it needs continuous electric supply. Here we can compare oil and electricity with God’s anointment of the Holy Spirit.

Let us spend some time in prayer and review our walk with Christ.

Thought: Being comforted by God – Receiving strength, encouragement, and hope to deal with our troubles. The more we suffer, the more comfort God gives us. If you are feeling overwhelmed, allow God to comfort you. Remember that every trial we endure for the Kingdom of God will help us comfort other people who are suffering similar troubles.
