Spiritual Warfare is Real – So, we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil!

Thought:  Know who you are in Christ Jesus, and know your enemy!

So we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil.

The world comes at us from the outside bombarding us with counterfeits to truth.

The flesh comes at us from the inside.

The devil is constantly and continuously attacking us, usually working through the world and the flesh rather than mounting a full-on attack.

All three of them try to subdue us without fighting. They attack us at our weak points.  To stand firm in our battle, we need to know the truth and permit the truth to penetrate into our minds.

”You know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 32

Thought:
When nothing makes sense, and when troubles seem more than you can bear, remember that God gives strength. Our feelings should not be controlled by the events around us, but by faith in God’s ability, which will give us the essential strength. Take your eyes off your difficulties and look to Him. God’s time table is something only He has complete control over. He is Sovereign and He is in control. He can be trusted even when we can’t predict the outcome. He will give his disciples the strength and confidence in Christ Jesus during difficult times. God’s people need to live in the strength of His Spirit, confident in his ultimate victory over evil.
To sum up, we believers need to wait patiently with sincere hearts and minds as God gives us a chance to honor Him and absolutely surrender to His Sovereign will. As our faith is tested, we are pruned to grow and bear more Spiritual fruits (Galatians 5). God is never late (John 11), so let us not rush God’s plan. The only perfect timing is God’s and His alone. Honestly, His clock doesn’t function like man’s clock.

The Ultimate Result of True Faith in Christ Jesus

Thought: Cost of True Christian Discipleship

A disciple of Jesus is someone who possesses a heart for God and a teachable attitude toward Jesus. He or She is ready to receive forgiveness, teaching, direction, help, love and encouragement for him.

Following Christ Jesus means an absolute submission to do God’s will and to follow His foot prints. No matter what the cost, let us follow the foot prints of Jesus.

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thought:

In Christ we have a better joy, a higher and lasting joy to cure our depression or tension.  Submit yourself and draw constantly from his power. When you feel down, you may find it difficult to give thanks. Take heart – in all things. God works for our good if we love him and are called by him (Romans 8: 28). Thank God, not for your problems but for the strength he is building in you through the difficult experiences of your life. You can be sure that God’s perfect love will see you through.

Is Jesus the King of your life?

Do we have quiet time with Him? Do we handle the issues of life in accordance with the word of God? How is your daily walk with Christ? How about your Spiritual growth?

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

Thought:

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

The secret of a joyful Christian life is being deeply rooted and grounded in Christ. It is very easy to get discouraged and distracted about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. No matter what kind of circumstances (Habakkuk 3: 17-19) we may have, still Sovereign God is on His throne and He is in control. Let us learn to see life with an eternal perspective through God’s Word

Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

Dear all,

Thought:

Honestly, it is not enough to just hear or read the Word of God or even to know it well. We must also put into practice. Listening to the Word of God should lead us to meditating it and finally obeying the Word of God. The more we delight in obeying God, the more fruitful we are. How is our walk with the LORD? Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

Christian’s happiness

Word:  

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”  At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts: 7: 55 – 60.

Thought:

A Christian’s happiness and joyful life is not dependent on his circumstances.Keep honouring God in your conduct and words. Stephen’s death had a profound impact on Paul, who later become the world’s greatest missionary. Even those who oppose you now may later turn to Christ.
