Spiritual Warfare is Real – So, we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil!

Thought:  Know who you are in Christ Jesus, and know your enemy!

So we are in a battle against three enemies – the world, the flesh and the devil.

The world comes at us from the outside bombarding us with counterfeits to truth.

The flesh comes at us from the inside.

The devil is constantly and continuously attacking us, usually working through the world and the flesh rather than mounting a full-on attack.

All three of them try to subdue us without fighting. They attack us at our weak points.  To stand firm in our battle, we need to know the truth and permit the truth to penetrate into our minds.

Are you confessing the same sins over and over?

Dear all,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and we wish you a blessed New Year. As we continue to learn more about wisdom let us live obedient to His Word.

Thought: Are you confessing the same sins over and over?

When we come to Christ and genuinely confess our sins to God, He forgives our sins. True confession also includes a strong and unwavering commitment to not continue to live in sin. In addition, we need to remain strong in Christ and set godly boundaries. God is able to give us the strength we need to defeat temptation and trials every single time. Totally relying on His power is more than enough to lead a victorious Christian life.

Thought:

The four types of soils represent different responses to God’s message. People respond differently because they are in different states. Some are hardened, others are shallow, others are contaminated by distracting by distracting worries, and some are receptive.

Have you been enjoying God’s special treatment without giving anything in return?

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word:

 Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”  Luke 13: 6 – 3.

Thought:

Have you been enjoying God’s special treatment without giving anything in return? If so, respond to the Gardener’s patient care and begin to bear that fruit God has created you to produce.

Be thankful to God that you are wonderfully made to accomplish His purposes.

Thought:

Honestly, it is not enough to just hear or read the Word of God or even to know it well. We must also put into practice. Listening to the Word of God should lead us to meditating it and finally obeying the Word of God. The more we delight in obeying God, the more fruitful we are. How is our walk with the LORD? Are we expressing Christ in all our relations?

Thought: Being comforted by God – Receiving strength, encouragement, and hope to deal with our troubles. The more we suffer, the more comfort God gives us. If you are feeling overwhelmed, allow God to comfort you. Remember that every trial we endure for the Kingdom of God will help us comfort other people who are suffering similar troubles.

Promises – Problems – Promotion

The answer is “NO”, because our LORD Jesus is still on His throne.

Suffering – is it the true path of a successful Christian life? The answer is amazingly “YES”. There are too many ways to hell but the only way to heaven is through LORD Jesus (John 15). We may ask why these things are happening in my life or why a lot of natural disasters around me? Is it God’s judgement or does God call people in a different way to have a closer walk with him? Are these your questions? Remember, LORD Jesus is the only person who can change the question mark into an exclamation mark! You may read any passage from his teachings and connect these dots and get a full picture.

God has given the promises! But, problems are arising; remember God has a perfect time for a wonderful promotion. Every promise from God will be fulfilled in the life of the child of God according to the master plan of Almighty God. For example, in the life of Joseph (Genesis 37) the problems could not kill or destroy the promise of God. Remember, our names are written by God in the book of life and this life is a faith journey to equip us to be with him forever.

Never underestimate the resurrected power of LORD Jesus! Since, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit we are carrying the presence of God with us wherever we go. For instance, God created turtle with a dwelling place on the top of the animal and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let the Joy of the LORD fill our hearts and mind to build us as His holy temple.

We have been delivered by the power of Jesus name and we should not go and voluntarily tie up with sin again! Sin is not fun and I strongly believe that Holy life in Christ Jesus is a Jolly life. When we lay a strong foundation for our Spiritual life (Matthew 7), God is able to construct the superstructure. Even in the midst of a bundle of problems we will be victorious in the name of Jesus! We should not obey the voice of Satan but put on the full armor of God to stand firm in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 6). Satanic forces want to destroy our character by triggering us to sin.  In addition, the ultimate aim of the satanic forces is to steal your relationship with Christ Jesus and kill the peace of mind in Christ Jesus.

What do we need to do? Resist the devil in Jesus’ name and stand firm in Christ Jesus.  The immediate preventive measures should be taken against the strategies of satanic forces by the heavenly guidance of the Holy Spirit. God is able to carry us through it. Have faith in Him for His Omnipotence and His Omnipresence. Joseph never compromised with sin (Genesis 37).

Repent, Realize and Visualize – God’s plan cannot be destroyed by satanic devices and by his strategies. God will promote us when we submit our thought life, emotional life and physical life absolutely to God. Partial submission is disobedience. For a believer in Christ Jesus every problem is an opportunity to proclaim Jesus’ name!

Where are we? Redemption is near! Let us walk with Him humbly!  Jesus will not permit us to be ashamed and He will not permit us to walk through a path of suffering without a reason. Let us grow in Christ Jesus in a well-balanced way, by reading the Word of God and applying the Word of God in every situation. Prayer can change anything and prayer can change any one and it can change the emptiness of life into a fulfilled and meaningful life!

No matter what, God can make every tragedy as a strategy to proclaim His holy name like He did it in His Holy Bible’s characters such as Joseph, Daniel, Paul, Peter, and on and on and on.

 

Look up at the sky and count the stars

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

The LORD took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.  Gen 15: 4-5.

Thought:

In verse 12 – Bible says that the sun was going down. In verse 5 Bible says God called Abram out of his tent and ask him to look up at the sky and count the stars. God can show stars even in the day time. He is the creator of this Universe and His blessings are beyond our imaginations.

God is the beginning and the end. He is our creator and has numbered all our days even before we were born.  When circumstances are not in favor of you, when things go wrong don’t despair rather trust in God for He is in control.

He said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. Zec 4:6

For we live by faith, not by sight. II Cor 5:7

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10b

Thought:

“Be strong, be strong and be strengthened” – God’s Word is not for the faint of heart or the mentally lazy, it requires thought and decisive action by the reader/hearer based on the truth it unfolds by God’s Spirit. In addition, it is the source of the power we need for our everyday walk.

Thought: The Strength of Solitude and Silence

When we take time to read the gospels closely we will notice how often, sprinkled among the narratives, are phrases such as, “And then Jesus withdrew and went to a quiet place.” In the language of spiritual development this is called solitude: carving out a space in your life where God can speak to you. It is being quiet, confident in Christ Jesus and eager to listen to His voice. In these quiet moments God speaks and He meets us.
